Does talking to yourself in mirrors because you're bored/lonely count as metal illness? Does anybody else have a mirror obsession? I don't even like the way i look but mirrors have always fascinated me since childhood. The two could related.

That's actually very scary and creepy

I've never talked to myself in the mirror but every time I'm near one I can't help but stare at my reflection. I always found it fascinating, looking at all the nuances of my face/expressions
I talk to myself in the mirror all the time. Like at least 15min a day here and there. I didn't even think it was that weird tho... It's just fun and relieves the loneliness.

sometimes when i'm getting ready i end up having a deep conversation with myself without even realizing it lol

>looking in a mirror
No thanks.
>>35429829
I dont carry out conversations. I think out loud and i also do what
>>35429845
Said. I think im ugly, but I like to see the way my face moves and it also feels like someone else is around. Idk.

Exactly. I also like it because the face you see the least is usually your own.

Sometimes I stare at myself in the mirror and try to disconnect me from my reflection, tricking my brain into thinking I'm looking at a random person instead of myself. I do it because I want my reflection to pop out or do something because in doing so it'll ultimately disprove everything we know in modern science and a lot of religion. Kind of like waiting for something unnatural to happen to prove that what we think is natural actually isn't
>metal illness
i just imagine a chromosome made of metal
I once looked in a mirror on shrooms and I've viewed mirrors differently since. I always disassociate and stare at my reflection. It doesn't feel like anything

Used to do this. Grew out of it.

kek. I never would have caught that
