Please do not abuse gun ranges in this fashion. They have to deal with the consequence of it all. Most of them are small family businesses.

I had this exact thought yesterday. I also imagined running away to do it, and as the slightly overweight instructor tries to catch up to me, I put the gun up to my head but he tries to shoot it out of my hand and accidentally shoots me in the head and has his life ruined.

Just buy a gun. Don't inconvenience the owners, range officers, and shooters.
