I know how retarded and pathetic this sounds, but since I was a little kid, barely old enough to even understand the idea, I've had this feeling that some day I'm going to be called up and become a hero that saves the world.

Like I said, I realize how fully idiotic the idea is, but I just can't shake it. I'm still alive because something needs me and someday the time will come. Hell, maybe I won't even realize that it's happened and it'll be something that seems minor to me.
