Professors are people too. Many of them are a lot like us. I don't know what you need to talk about, but there's a good chance your professor will be a hell of a lot cooler and more understanding than you expect.

I have to talk to him about a grad position. I put it off for so long because I was afraid to talk to them, they might not have any free positions left and then I don't know what am I supposed to do.
