Okay constrictor wasn't the word I was looking for then, basically I meant I want a nice lazy fat one and not one of those noodle ones that zoom everywhere. Mostly I'm just concerned with what size I could give good care, I have a 50gal aquarium if that helps.

Thats a standard 55 gallon. I wouldnt suggest that for snakes, it's not deep enough for them to move comfortably

Ball pythons seem nice, I very nearly got one when I was a kid but ended up with a corn snake instead. Side question, would there be any reason to avoid special morphs? Like poor breeding practices to achieve them or something?

Here's a decent page on what to avoid.
Make sure to buy from a good store or breeder and to make sure it's had atleast 4 unassisted meals since it was hatched.
