I think I understand women better than most men do. I've never understood that Freud line "the hardest thing is to know what a woman wants." IMO it's pretty straightforward. Women are:

- Physically taxed to a great degree by pregnancy. Hence the evolutionary caution about having sex, and the attraction to men with resources.

- Physically weaker than men, hence the tendency to resort to deception and emotional manipulation instead of direct intimidation.

- Programmed to be more nuturing, as they are tied to children forever by their biology. So their parental instincts are stronger than mens', they have more natural interest in children.

- Need a man who both CAN provide, and just as importantly WILL provide... So they tend to be attracted to both power and integrity; they like guys who are strong, but if you're strong by virtue of being phony, they don't like that either because it means you're dishonest and might screw them over. They have a big thing with guys being 'real' or 'genuine'.

- Have smelly assholes, with which to better attract males.
