>Looking at pictures of places you'll never get to visit, let alone live at
What is this feeling called
I hate it but I can't stop
It's like screenshots, into stories I could be apart of but will forever be denied from.
Or maybe it's a desire to see something new. I've lived in the same state all 23 years of my life.
Maybe I just have a mental problem where comfy pics cause pain along with pleasure.

anxiety inducing

This is why I love traveling.
I don't go to get list in tourist traps, I go to lay on the grass somewhere and just smell the air of a different part of the planet

>Or maybe it's a desire to see something new
It's mostly this. I'm 21 but I've lived in the same place my whole. I just want to move somewhere new and start over. Start fresh in an area where I want to be. It'll probably never happen though. I'll probably die in this god forsaken town.
This is all because of the photographer's composition. These places aren't nearly as cozy in real life as they are in photos.

>you'll never get to visit
Don't say that, anon. Never is a long time.
>>35366524
Certainly the photographer enhances, but there must be the initial kernel of comfy to be enhanced in the first place.

It's actually a very short time.
Never is the time between now and when you die.
We'll all die much quicker than we hope.

Adrenaline pumping

You can make really nice places look awful and really awful places look cozy.
>>35366597
Of the awful images of nice places, there must of been something awful in the first place to capture. Of the nice images of awful places, there must of been something nice in the first place to capture.
A Photographer doesn't make Art, he takes Art. Creativity on his part is not creation, but exaggeration of preexistence.

My god that's abysmal view. All it takes to see most of these places is a plane ticket and the wherewithal to go do out and do it.

>All it takes to see most of these places is [MONEY] and the [LIFE-SECURITY TO TAKE FREE TIME FROM JOB TO TRAVEL]
Wow, the world is my oyster, as soon as I earn enough to buy a jacket to meet the restaurant's dress code

Hobos do it for free and have zero life security. You're just lazy and scared.
>>35366772
I know of no hobo from my country who has ever visited America, Japan, Germany, etc.

If you live in Europe you literally only live a few hours from cities like London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rome etc. What is stopping you?
Also Kinderdijk is boring as fuck.
t. lives near kinderdijk

Money and I get 2.5 vacation days per month at my job and I'm not allowed to take more than five days in a row in a single vacation.

So quit.

I need to buy food
>>35366876
Traintickets to your neighbouring country is quite cheap right? Just take 2 days off and be /comfy/

There are still places where you can actually be super comfy. My uncle has access to the roof of his apartment building and one time I went up there at night to smoke a cigarette. I never realized how beautiful the Chicago skyline was at night until then. It was amazing, 10/10 comfort. I chain smoked cigs for about an hour and half that night.

Panama is scary and Nicaragua is dangerous

Oh i thought you lived in europe
There is beautiful nature there right?
I once knew an America who described Iraq in much the same way I'd describe my country.
"It'd be a beautiful country except for the people"
Besides, I have trouble finding beauty in what I've seen every day.
I want to see snow.
