it -is- pretty easy to overdose on pure powder. the amounts in common drinks are absolutely microscopic. for example i have some 200mg capsules and they're pretty small, and they're not even full (you can see the powder moving around if you shake them). a spoonful of powder would probably kill someone especially if they had a weak heart
