I dropped out and I don't regret it. I got top marks in everything, had a full scholarship at a good university planned, but I got tired of this stupid rat race. School and working makes me depressed, there's nothing I want to do with my life and I didn't care enough to justify continuing down that path.

I've failed high school twice, once when I was a teenager and then again as an adult.

If you can afford going back it's not a big deal. I'm Australian so I get paid to study and I'm currently enrolled for a third time. I have a test tomorrow and I haven't studied at all and my sleep cycle is fucked and I have to wake up at 6am so I'm going to be tired.

I'm 24 now.

Look, can people still be successful after dropping out? Yes. But you're not exactly setting yourself up for success by dropping out. You might regret it, you might not. But you won't know until it's too late. It's so much easier if you stay in school.

OP, tomorrow, at the first chance you get GO TO YOUR SCHOOL COUNSELOR and tell them that you fucked up and were lacking focus and you want to create a PLAN to graduate by next year.

Your counselor will be incredibly pleased that you took it upon yourself and HELP you. They will create a plan for you to graduate. They'll inform your teachers who will also be ecstatic that you're willing to start focusing on your future and they will help you out too.
