i think being unloved and unwanted makes you more predisposed to mental illness, but being loved doesn't make you invincible to it. some people can get so warped in their minds they think everyone hates them even when they are more popular than average. or you know girls who are hot and skinny but get anorexia and think food is poison and will make them fat and ugly?
mental illness can hit anyone. after i started becoming more normie i actually started getting more mentally ill. the one thing that decreased is social anxiety, but im still awkward and autistic as fuck. i had my first panic attack yesterday, and it felt like total fucking hell. i wanted to rip my face off and scream and run in circles, it went on for hours too. it was so fucking miserable. i wasn't home so i didn't have my supply of benzos i normally keep in case i get myself into a shit situation, i never even knew what a panic attack was. they are so fucking terrible, i feel so bad for people who get them now. i've also had delusional thoughts which i thankfully still can remember are delusional recently, like looking around every corner and all over the place thinking someone is going to kill me and having a weird sense of impending doom.

I had a lot of group therapy tho, but only inside hospitals(spent 7 months inside them last year)
Outside of the hospitals I only have one on one therapy with a therapist and psychiatrist appointments

I would unironically go to this group, Becuae I want to be freind of normies and meet an average+ looking girls

I wnet to a group for peopel who just want to meet people.(kinda group for friendless people) and everybody there was weird and too much spergs. 2 girls.
one is barely talking and aroung the age of 27+(I'm 21)
The secendt one was a little fat and somewhat awkward but alright.

I left after 1 session tho.

The group felt like it was for " special" people and I want to meet normal people.
