Tbh anon it is kinda easy to an extent.
Last year i meet up with 4 "online friends" at dreamhack summer. 2 were sweds one italian and one french.
The first 10mins of us meeting eachother were honestly the cringiest thing ever like we made a giant speech while greeting ourselves in (smth like they do in animus where the HS kids have to present themselves to the class) after that we went to check some events and during the whole day while looking at things that were happening around us we always had conversation topics.
Anywhosers you won't know if you dont try. And if you dont try you'll end up regretting not trying.
Also its not like you'll be ridiculized infront of all ur friends if things go wrong (considering you dont have many friends xD)
