My principal did something similar when I was in 5th grade since I was also very antisocial and had no friends. They were shaped like people but were just colors, green, red, blue, all one color. It started as just blobs when I was 2 or 3 and as I got older they became shaped more like people and then started getting features so they weren't just green shadows or whatever anymore. When I was in 5th grade I could make out clothes but not faces. Now they don't have color anymore they just look like people. They just sit and stare at me, never talk. If I'm walking they walk beside me.

Yeah, they just look like regular people. If I'm in public sometimes I can't even tell who is real and who isn't. The hallucinations always stare at me but sometimes real people do that too. Sometimes I still see people shaped shadows but they're not colorful anymore, just black like regular shadows. Those are the most unnerving. The ones that look like people are unnerving too. It's kinda creepy to be alone in my room at night and see some bald guy just standing in the corner staring at me with no expression. They're never people I know but a handful of them appear often, and then some random ones are mixed in. The bald guy shows up a lot, I call him baldy. There's also a girl I call Annie because she looks like Annie from Community.

I have. Unless I take a bunch of pills there's not much they can do, and I don't want to take any meds. The hallucinations never talk to me or tell me to do things like hurt people so the doctors say it's fine for me to just cope with it. I'm still young though and schizophrenia tends to worsen as a person reaches adulthood. That combined with the fact that the hallucinations have distinctly developed over time does concern my doctor, so I see him every 6 months or so about it, or if something new happens with them.

My life followed a similar trajectory to yours, though the details are different. In middle school I eventually had a psychotic break. What happened is I've always disliked physical contact and some girls discovered this. There were three of them in particular who used to find it funny to grab at my balls without warning and then laugh when I jerked away in horror.

One day in metal shop I went to the little cubbyhole where we kept our projects between classes and discovered my project had been chopped into pieces. The whole class was watching, having seen it done, and enjoying my shock and unhappiness. I brought the pieces to the teacher and he was annoyed at me for being the victim.

I brought the pieces back to the table, at a loss for what to do. Then one of the girls grabbed my crotch and everything just went icy-cold and clear. I calmy walked over and picked up a metal T-bar, walked back, and then tried to smash her skull in. When she ran away, I began walking back and forth through the workshop, trying to smash in people's heads as kids panicked and ran in all directions. I have few memories of this except single photo-like images. Through the whole thing, I was apparently completely emotionless.

The metal shop teacher, a big, powerful man with a big beard, ran to the office and called my parents. He told them I was trying to kill the other kids and they told him to STOP me. He refused to go back because he said I "looked like a demon."

Eventually I calmly put the T-bar away and walked out. They found me in the guidance counsellor's office, completely catatonic. They couldn't get any reaction out of me until they held the phone to my ear and my father told me to "stop acting so stupid."

The school refused to accept me back until my parents presented written proof that I was receiving psychiatric care.
