That's what I find amazing, and hard to believe. Surely there are many people that want this sort of thing, so why aren't there more such games? I've already tried Love Plus, and it had some good ideas, but ultimately it just felt weak and unsatisfying and repetitive.

I keep thinking of just making a game myself until I realize that I don't know how to write a romance story or really anything involving interactions between humans.
