Anyone wish they learned programming or something artistic? Maybe something else?
I spend a lot of my time reading non-fiction but it seems pretty pointless. Most of it is pop-science anyway.

It's never too late to start . Khan academy and Edex have easy courses to start .

I just bought some watercolors the other day. Painted my first blobs yesterday and it kind of made me happy even though it looks like a preschooler made it. my mind just felt at peace as I was painting

Thanks anon. Not a NEET since I am currently in school, but I don't enjoy my study all that much.
And the job prospect is really bad. Thinking of studying statistics and see if my drawing or writing has any potential.
Programming seems very useful but I am afraid I don't have potential for it.

What utility is provided by programming, for an average person in their everyday life?
Could an average person with internet access and search skills reasonably expect to self-teach a level of programming ability which would qualify them for work in that field?
I have serious doubts as to the usefulness of self-taught programming.

I (OP) did some paiting course at some mental health care institution (I am a schizo). I suck at painting, but I feel my drawing might have some potential.
I just find it difficult to sit down and take the time to do it.

Thisis not my wish. It's reality.
