Before you do, I advise:

1) Play Civ 2 or Freeorion
2) Try embroidery
3) Try plastic figurine molding
4) Try to solder together a basic logic circuit

Then go ahead and decide.

Loneliness can be overcome. I am not saying it is easy but it is perfectly possible.
Eat well, find something you enjoy (read, write, draw, paint, program, music), take walks or lift weights and so on.

When you focus on that maybe you might actually stumble upon somebody.

My own trouble is not finding something in which I meet new people. I tried some course that I could do again, but it bored me so I am unsure whatever to do it again.

And I rather be alone than waste time on someone I don't fit with.
