Yep. The moment I notice somebody is trying to argue with me on 4chan or anywhere else on the internet now I just say "okay" or tell them I'm not going to argue with them and then stop responding. I don't care about "winning" or "losing" on an anonymous imageboard anymore and my life is much better for it.

I used to be one of those normies that argue on online news article comment sections then I realized there is no point in arguing with some fat, high school dropout from the rust belt when nothing I can say would change their minds regardless of the topic. Once I stopped posting replies and shit, I found that I was having much more time on the web.

I kind of like arguing. At least anonymously.

I used to spend so much time arguing over politics, religion, and all that bullshit. Now I feel nothing but apathy for world events. I spend all my passion and argumentative energy on video games and anime.

I still do it but generally don't. 4chan is the worst offender for 2 reasons and that is 1) a lot of the times people are trolling and 2) since it is completely anonymous, you're not even using an internet name, people are wrong and pompously so. It's amazing how many people spout ignorant shit and are seemingly confident about it.

I cringe whenever some newfag makes a thread or post talking about how smart [insert board] or 4chan is. This site is 50% underage fags and 49% low IQ webs

Over the years I've learned that the best way to enjoy this site is ignore the garbage and not take anything seriously. All the active boards are just basically wading through shit to find the good stuff.
