This used to be my attitude too until I made more money and got a pretty chill job. Now I would much rather work than die.

The trick is to never, ever work fast food or other slave jobs where you're degraded in every way a person can be degraded.

I'm relatively happy now but I still resent my parents for not teaching me competitive life skills or work ethic to set me up for a better entry into the workforce earlier on. I wasted almost a decade being suicidal and even though I'm happy now, in hindsight if I had the option I would choose to have never been born.
