yes that would be job abandonment. I've done it a few times. With retail jobs, you end up hating it so much that you just snap and quit one day without thinking. At least that's how it always ended up for me.

I had 7 grand saved up from my walmart department manager job and I was able to be NEET for about 10 months before I had to get back into the workforce.
