I'd say the sexual revolution was what sent civilization in this downward spiral, there's a lot of things I think we can link it to, I'm not a historian but I'd say it helped created the black American culture you see today as well as stupid things like pride parades and flamboyant gays. More massive problems directly caused by it were:

>break down of family values
>trannies
>more STI's
>tension between men and women
>degenerate fetishes
