Acshully not if you're a NEET who's addicted to it. It can fry your dopamine receptors, screw with your brain's reward system, and of course expose you to more screen time. All not good for you. Just fap 3/4 times a week without porn.

The Jordan Peterson thing is decent enough outline, but you can accomplish the same thing via a little personal reflection every day. Just need the will power to act on the goals you set for yourself.

mine: get a text book or something and read it for 20 minutes before going to bed. a kindle is acceptable, but NOT anything like your phone or whatever because the point is to fall asleep after that shit.

Willpower seemed to be something that needed to be trained slowly at least for me. I got myself an "accountability" calendar and made a small goal for each week. Example, week one was nofap. That's all I had to do. Every day I did it I got a check mark on the calendar. Every day I messed up I got an X. I started this in November of last year and just now at the end of February I went a full week. Then week two will now be lift or run everyday. Slowly but surely you can start getting used to these habits.

I forced myself to run or swim an hour a day with no skipping days. After about a week an a half, i felt the results and I wanted to maintain and improve so my diet eventually followed. I saw bad food as a waste of the time I'm putting into myself. And then I applied this to everything else: what is good for my improvement and what is a waste of my life?

Another anon in this thread already put forward the notion of talking with cashiers, which can help you with learning a bit of small talk.
Friends and family are alright to a certain degree. The point of talking to people you're unfamiliar with is so that you build up confidence and pick up a wider range of social ques and views.
