loser white autist going to asia to prey on unsuspecting people is such a fucking cliche
>>35239679
Yeah. It's called MEXT here. I was shocked that the whole I didn't knew such scholarship existed. But, thankfully I am 19 still. Only downside is that I have to take 1 year preparatory classes for learning Japanese and the whole undergraduate course is in Japanese.
If you are a loser here you will be a loser abroad
Sounds like you have a great opportunity so go for it if it's what you really want to do.
The best of luck.

>>35239775
I am not from America. I completed HS when I was 18. Got into Uni when I was 19. Now, that I know about this Japanese scholarship. I really want to apply. If I make it then, I'd have to drop out from Uni.

>tfw applied for student exchange to South-Korea
I don't think anything bad could possibly come
from just going, but I must say that probably the
worst feel when studying in non-home country
is when you realize that you don't have a single
person you can trust even a little bit. If you can get even 1 person to come with you it takes most of the stress off.
>>35239894
Especially for us autistic socially awkward robots. This is really going to be a problem. My parents would give me permission for Japan if I qualify. But, the thing is that. You're basically going to a new country. Everything is gonna change. New life, new country, new environment, new people. Everything different. There are gonna be lots of challenges to tackle. And, studying too.
>>35239944
I've been on exchange before, but that time i had 2
classmates coming and 7 other people from our
school. This time it looks like im only one from our class and since i'm now in university other
students will be like random bysanters from streets :/. I don't think myself as an "autistic"
person, but i tend to be very paranoid.
>>35239811
Where are you from OP? I see something like this for UK but requires a year in university studying Japanese for you to be eligible

Pakistan.
We don't have that requirement for undergraduates. Just simple 12 years of education and entrance test required.
