Recently I found some old albums I was listening to when I was a kid. Decided to blast through most of them and bathe in nostalgia.
Life was good back then, and I mean genuinely good. We lived in our own cosmos as kids, life was simple. Even in highschool, all our problems were contained inside those halls. TV, movies, music, all of them gave us the impression that life is just awaiting us.
As soon as we finnish school, we're going to have the time of our life as adults.
Now we're 25, stuck in an awful job, returning to an empty apartment, wasting away our lifetime in the fourchins matrix, reassuring ourselves that life will get better.
Nobody told us that it would be like this.
