Does anyone here ever talk to themselves in their head, or have imaginary conversations? Sometimes when I've read something that requires a little processing (science, politics, whatever) it gets stuck in my head and I try to work it out as if I was explaining it to someone - usually a child or historical figure.
I'm not hearing voices and I'm not delusional. I do have a couple psychological disorders but this doesn't fit any of the ones I know. I can't be alone though, r-right?

yes, every human does this, it's called thinking

yeah
sounds pretty normie to me too
but i think they discussed this shit on the ricky gervais show and said that its slowing your thoughtprocess because it must convert concepts into words first

It's a specific type of thinking though. I'm not just talking to myself; I'm imagining that there's a person physically near me and that I'm explaining it to them. Maybe it's harder to describe than I thought.

Yeah, that's normal.
I do that a lot especially when I'm alone drunk at night in front of my PC while having tunes playing, pretty relaxing but burns me out.
