For whiskeys (irish, scotch, bourbon), I pour it at room temp, oftentimes on a cold glass. No ice, no water.
Vodka tastes nice neat at room temp.
When I first tasted Jagermeister, I was awful at first but then it grew on me. Heck, I got used to drink Fernet Branca in the same fashion, and it's more bitter than Jager.
Red wine, despite the aforementioned summer temperature issue, it's still good when I have a meal (lunch or dinner).

For all those reasons, I haven't had a hangover in ages.

I heard that it's even stronger than Lagavulin when it comes to the smokeyness of the flavour. Both are single malt, they guys from islay use burning peat to dry up the grain used for the whiskey. The closest thing I drinked to that was Johnnie Walker Double Black, which uses islay malts in its blend, so it's more ashen and smokier than the well known Black label.
It like it, and I can image that Lagavulin and Arber are much better.
