If this is constant and has been happening for years, you should probably get on something.

when you stop smoking meth OP

It stops when you stop doing things that cause you stress. For example: going to school, going to work, talking to people, etc.

Really?
:O
Meditating, practicing mindfulness, and learning to control your thoughts - and thus emotions - will lessen the effects and likely prevent this from happening in the future.
Finding the thoughts that are causing it and addressing that (via journaling/venting, EFT, etc) should stop it.
Start by a cessation of 1) obsessing over it, 2) resisting it. Accept it fully with a friendly curiosity.

It doesnt.

Yes. I used to have really bad anxiety, but now that I'm a NEET my life is actually stress-free for the most part. I still get nervous when I have to go buy groceries or do something else outside, but that's only like 5% of my time.

seriously, find a local meditation group anon. You couldn't find a group of more sympathetic loving people to teach you/practice with. If youre neet and no car go with your mommy. Seriously, do it.
I used to have horrific anxiety, but then I:
>Quit smoking
>Quit drinking coffee
>Started running 4 miles every other day
>Stopped eating sugar
>Started eating more fiber
I don't ever have anxiety anymore.
