It's actually not. See the thing about the "just be yourself" thing is it's all dependent on the "yourself". If your personality is a pessimistic, cynical, sarcastic, disgusting faggot who has no job, terrible hygiene, and wonders why girls aren't attracted to him, then obviously you need to work on the "yourself" aspect before you can apply "Just beeee yourself" to your life.
