aspergers is basically very high functioning autism. they don't diagnose aspergers anymore, just various degrees of autism.

The dynamics change a lot, but autism is an umbrella term for Asperger's (very high functioning), Classic autism (what it sounds like), and PDD-nos (a limbo state where you don't fit enough criteria for either of those)

yes, but in my opinion it's not worth it due to the stigma and stereotypes. We put up with a LOT more bullshit than most normal people realize
