Just because you don't own a car doesn't mean you shouldn't own a license.
>>35191302
What is the purpouse of a licence if I don't have a car?

Why learn to walk if you don't have legs?

>>35191461
Except for writing is a practical skill with applications and uses literally everywhere, driving on the other hand is a completely worthless skill unless you plan on owning a car someday, which I don't.
Different anon by the way.

This is objectively wrong and you should feel retarded for posting this.

What makes knowing how to drive worth knowing if I never plan on driving?
Not only do I detest driving, but I doubt I'll ever be able to afford a car.
Every time somebody feels the need to talk shit about another person they are hiding something themselves.

Okay never mind lmao

im 20 and i can drive, i just don't like to because i get le panic attacks
I learned how to drive at the age of 34,and it took two tries for the driving test. I haven't been behind the wheel since, and I am 51. Why? I never needed to drive, had friends with cars, lived a half hour's leisurely walk from work, and a hour's busride to NYC for anything and everything else. And if I needed to buy something that wasn't clothing I could order it online and have the doorman take it. The ONLY reason I bothered to learn in the first place was to take care of my Mom,who lived in the corner of New Jersey where New York and Pennsylvania were 5 minutes away from each other, and one needed a car in those country roads. She was getting old,and I resolved to move in with her. But during the phonecall I made the day I got my license, I told her to make room for my computer when I moved in. Her response?
"You ain't bringing that computer in my house! I HATE that fucking thing!" And even though I explained carefully that I used it for PhotoShop, and I could talk to the whole world with it,she still refused.
So I refused to move in. If I could turn my life upside-down and move away from everything I knew and loved, and my happiness wasn't worth Electricity that I offered to PAY FOR,then I had no business being with that person,Mother be damned. It was the right decision, otherwise I would be utterly miserable every day of my life trapped in this self imposed hell. She wound up passing on a few years later anyway, condemned by her own worst enemy:herself.

>took mandatory drivers ed class in sophomore year of high school before dropping out
>classroom portion was easy to the point of being boring
>behind the wheel portion was fucking horrifying
>panicked and failed final test
>thankfully that wasn't required for graduation
>wait lmao I dropped out anyways
>parents stress out over my lack of education and self sufficiency
>tell them I would fucking die if I was controlling a speeding mass of metal
>more than ten years later parents still aren't bugging me about driving
I go out with my mom every time I leave the house anyways. It's more comfy that way.
20, still studying so don't have money anyway
>>35191117
>gas
>insurance
>purchasing a car
>repairs and maintenance
Thousands of dollars saved.
I have really bad anxiety when driving and I lose focus really quickly. I drifted into other lanes and rode over the curb alot, still passed drivers training when I did it as a kiddo. I might attempt to get it this year but I'm not sure.

Driving is easy
What makes it hard is driving with the worst people on the road
>20
>learnt to drive when I was 17
>forgot it all now and scared to drive
is this better?
