Certain cultures don't mesh well with other cultures. If I bring some Saudi Arabian muslims into my western, progressive culture, they're not going to integrate well unless they drop their old culture. That's not multiculturalism, that's assimilation. I don't mind assimilation, but multiculturalism sucks unless the cultures in question are closely related or share the same ideas.
