From the few minutes I've seen so far the caller's problem was that he just backed down and agreed rather than defending or rearticulating his point, he should have said that he believed the tactic of being nice was more effective than being rude when trying to convince people rather than saying he was better at arguing.
how many times have i seen this man today

I like molymeme, but he is often hard to listen to. His idea of epistemology is a bit outdated, and it can make listening to him and his explanations of things a bit painful. He's probably the closest person i've found listenable in the sort of political/philosophical area, so he at least has that going for him.

Stefan Molyneux, a philosopher, he has the most followed philosophy show in the world with thousands of videos recorded in over 10 years.

Same anon. I love a lot of his material but a lot of it is absolute shit at the same time. This vid is by far one of the worst examples I've seen in a long while and for people who see this as their first encounter are doomed to hate him
He systematically broke down the caller's argument, he was harsh, but he was never wrong.
What makes it so devastating is that he doesn't just focus on the heart of the matter, every point that you make leading up to the main point will be torn apart if its not air tight and consistent.
