Why don't you get a car /r9k/?
-Women will like you more
-Other men will respect you
-Fulfilling, interesting hobby
-A car gives you freedom to go anywhere anytime you want.

>>35187261
>tfw no UAZ
Slavshit is the red pilled transportation.
>>35187261
Weak thread, but that Datsun 280Z is God-Tier. They were only 170hp and had pretty good handling, but OMG were they sexy lookin'.
>>35187378
prove it fagg
I have a car.
It doesn't make anybody like me, but having somewhere I can make fairly noiseproof and then sit in to scream and scream and scream is really nice.
I got PTSD in driving. Nope. Just being in a car makes me nervous and I have to really trust the driver. I just take the trolley and use uber. I'm almost always drunk anyway.
>>35187512
ok ill just go on a 2 hour tram ride to my dads apt take a picture and come back
>>35187261
I need to put my S30 together and get it up and running.
I drive a pretty cool car that I enjoy working on and driving.
My problem is I'm never in a situation where a woman can see that I have a cool car and want to hang out with me or whatever.
>>35187261
Expensive an unneccessary
>>35187538
>dad's apartment
>evo
is he 17?
I like my own car.
Would rather have an Mx-5
>>35187261
>women will like you more
Most women don't know the first thing about cars, and only might you more if you're Chad driving around in a convertible.
>other men will respect you
Maybe if it's evident you're skilled mechanically and/or behind the wheel (and no this isn't mean stepping down on the throttle for a long time in your Toyota Camry until it exceeds highway speeds). In fact, most people don't see cars past their value of transportation, so you're only going to impress hobbiest if you do develope any skill.
>fulfilling, interesting hobby
One thing I can agree on depending on why you're getting the car.
>A car gives you freedom to go anywhere anytime you want
True, but it's also expensive, relatively dangerous, and bound to however far on a road you're willing to drive. Cars mostly end up being a box you sit in and listen to the radio in while you travel 5mph in rush-hour traffic.
>>35187632
Mazda 2? It isn't a bad car, Mazdas even in their most basic and economic model make a fun and engaging car to drive.
>>35187569
Nice. I was going to spend my money on adult things like but look at this beauty, it's so clean and well maintained. Should I robbits?
>tfw you decide to get out of the house to clear your head in the middle of the night and go on a thrilling night drive, discovering desolate back roads while pushing the limits of your car until your heart starts pounding and your hands start trembling, then you turn around, head back home, arrive in your driveway, turn off your car, only to once again be greeted by that sinking feeling in your chest and that overwhelming wave of loneliness hits you.
>>35187538
Ah the classical "I D-Dont have it with me" excuse
Eat a dick faglord

>tfw you go out on the highway late at night sometimes when there's no one else around and try to find the top speed of your car, my record is 145 so far.
>>35187817
>3am in shitbox
>blasting down the local ring road at 200km/h
>literally double limit, car won't go faster
>get home and go to room in parents basement

I own a mustang, bought it in my third year of high school for a reasonable price.
Honestly anons, not really worth it. All I use it for is going for long drives when I'm depressed or bored - and while that's great fun it's also extremely expensive, especially for NEETs. Insurance, gas, and repairs + the initial cost of the vehicle is sure to wear down your neetbux quickly and efficiently.
better to just take transit
>>35187261
I have several excellent cars.
I'm banned from driving for 6 years for repeated DUIs.
>>35187261
got any more of that grill?
but i do
:DD
>>35188840
I have one of those as well, nice winter sports car.
>>35188907
sup subro
its snowing outside right now but im working from home so no playtime today
ive fancied one for a long time so i finally ordered one on my birthday last year and had to wait until october for it to arrive, first brand new car so far
>>35188973
I had to suck so much dick to get my Subie but it was worth it!
>>35187261
I failed my road test for the most retarded reason and never took it again.
I guess I deserved it for ever even trying to be a real person.
is it safe to drive under benzos?
>>35188973
This is my 4th wrx/STI, I think I will get an Evo next time just for variety, but it gives me something fun to drive around my summer cars. They are fun but fragile when built for real power.
>>35189055
Forgot to add that I had to get anally fucked by a nigger drug lord to get the c6. Love my summer toys but not as much as the toys I use to fuck myself.
>>35189127
>implying I'm not the drug dealer
Aren't you a cutiepie.
I have a car, however, the only thing around is jaelousy. Women don't like me either.
>>35189055
im in the uk so insurance considerations influence how much i modify mine
dont know what ill do with it yet, but ill keep it all subtle whatever i choose
>>35189034
no its the same as being drunk essentially
>>35189237
Gotta crank up the boost, they're boring at stock power.
>>35187261
i do have a small used car for work purposes but i hate driving and i would never buy a new expensive car, its a waste of money.
cars are just an extension of your wallet so womyn can better judge if you have a lot of money to burn
>>35189305
the 2.5 unit is also fragile when played with and would require supportive mapping which would invalidate my warranty and leave me with a 10k bill when it goes pop - which it almost certainly will
i intend to leave the boost alone for at least the next 18 months
im actually picking up a jaguar xf in a month or so for my commute so i can play with the sti more then without worrying about it being off the road
>>35189240
that was a rhetoric reply to op's question
>>35189341
>>35189305
also worth noting is that the 2017 wrx sti has effectively zero aftermarket support in the uk
they sell so few here that it just isnt worth it
means i have to order everything from the us or japan so it takes forever
>>35189356
Yeah that's why I stick to the ej257 based imprezas, but yes, they can and will eat their ringlands and engine bearings when boosted, I've had for wrx/stis but 7 engines now.
>25 psi4lyfe
>girlfriend, what money can't buy
>>35189418
lol mate i have one of those too, chill
>>35189334
I don't know I like and have fun with my car, I kinda worked for it just to have some kind of purpose to work for
Now I'm just saving money for no reason
>>35189465
I was more so refering to OP since he says cars will get you a girl.
