How are y'all doing in life? I'm doing pretty terrible.
>be 27, went to school for math degree and did analytics for a research group for almost four years at university, lots of programming involved
>work part-time for minimum wage
>spent $30,000 for a useless math degree, can't afford payments
>can't find job paying above minimum wage that isn't part-time, can't even get interview
>$1000 in credit card debt for necessities
>phone bill piling up
>girlfriend pays for rent, hydro, etc and seems to be getting fed up with me, she'll probably hook up with a Chad soon who isn't such a beta faggot
I'm laying the groundwork for my suicide. I will probably hang myself in the woods somewhere. There's no point in any of this. I spent so much time becoming a professional in something yet there are no jobs and no one wants to hire me for being over-educated and over-experienced. I don't really feel like watching my life unfold any further since I know it'll mostly be failure.
pic related; still image from Suspiria. God, I love film. I'd make surrealist horror films.

I'm replying. You need to start small. Find some small place of solace and expand from there. I'm on disability right now but I'm looking forward to programming again.

>be 29
>no education, worked construction labor for my career
>never got into a trade, too socially awkward to hold down a job for any proper length of time
>suffered major burnout 4 years ago
>became NEET on welfare
>never leave the house
>no gf
>completely useless at this point

NO SYMPATHY
Honestly you sound like this whiny grad student I knew in college.
You have a math degree and programming experience. You should be able to find a job dude.
>gf
reee
I'm kinda the opposite. I have a decent job (though doesn't pay that great) and I have $60k saved, but I'm a 29 yr old KHHV who's never even had a female friend. I'd trade my life for yours in a second, op.

I'm pretty similar OP.
>have math degree
>get into data science masters program
>keep failing classes
>5 years later I still haven't finished
>Embarassing wagie jobs to pay the bills
>Thinking of joining the military as an officer
What kind of math did you go for OP?
>>35180986
wanted to do algebra (specifically, work on Inverse Galois Problem), but got into applied math research and data analytics.

>26
>was homeless for 3 months already
>psych ward 5 times, pills didnt work, psychologists are literal retarded normies who told me to close "my eyes and breathe", been diagnosed with many things
>had one fast food job, everyone hated me, didnt even try to hide it, only lasted a few months, could barely function
>abusive family
>highschool dropout
>r e e e e e
>>35180040
You can't find a job because you're a pussy and a gross faggot, probably indian...not because you're overqualified or experienced
>>35180040
>24
>been in college for 6 years, settled on an English degree that will be done in another year or so
>hate writing
>have only had a couple of min-wage jobs ever
>still live at home
>no hope
Would've made sense to get a degree in something that at least paid money, but I ran out of scholarship money so now I'm locked into this useless bullshit.
Oh well

>You have a math degree and programming experience. You should be able to find a job dude.
This guy is right. You have all the qualifications minus being a whiny little bitch. Fix up your resume / interview skills and go land a decent job.

Is it the experience gap that keeps you from finding a data analytics role? That's what is starting to hurt me. What about a logistics/operations research role?

>9/10 looks with 10/10 autism
>Quit my trade job because they were planning to use me to transport illegals
>Resume is almost blank
>People still think I'm doing really well because I'm good looking and well dressed
>Nobody takes me seriously but has enormous expectations of me

well, i have a degree and 4 years experience in data analytics and modeling. in my city they seem to want 10+ years experience and a masters.
>>35181456
had professionals look at my resume and cover letters, they all say its solid.

Then what's the problem? No jobs where you live? Move. Your gf is about to cuck your ass anyway.
