>tfw I stutter
Life is a struggle. Imagine not being not being able to speak fluently something which 99% of humans take for granted.
Stuttering is torture.

Wwwwwhat ddddo youuuuuuUUUUUU mmmmean, bbbb-bro?
>>35171751
Lol I don't even repeat words though. that's the thing. I used to when I was a kid. Now it's developed where I just can't start the sentence without a struggle and I get blocked mid way through the sentence. It's fucking weird because I can sing or rap or if I'm doing a voice impression without stuttering. It just confuses me.

"Everybody stutters one way or another, so check out my message to you, as a matter of fact don't let nothin hold you back, if the scatman can do it, so can you"

Had a friend like that in high school. Most people kinda shunned him, but he was seriously the chillest, most no-fucks-given dude.

>Imagine not being not being
Wow, it's spread to your keyboard.
How fucking stuttery do you have to be in order to stutter through text?
>>35171691
Does it help if you talk slower?
>>35171882
Kek that was a typo I don't stutter through text or maybe I just haven't noticed.
>>35171906
No. Why would it help? Like I said. I don't repeat words. Most people would think my stutter isn't that bad but it's the blocking that fucks it up for me. I can hold a conservation but it's too energy intensive precisely because of the blocking. So I just avoid it when I can.

fellow stutter anon here. ive been to several speech therapists but none of them could help. at this point im just terrified of talking to anybody, i barely even speak to my parents anymore
kill me
Always cool to see other stutterers on this board. Made my life a god damn nightmare. Ironically enough all I ever wanted to do is to get into radio
>>35172452
haha you too huh
i have a pretty good voice and have always been interested in stand-up comedy but that'll never happen
>>35172567
very cool, I don't think it's possible to stutter while singing at least it never happens to me. Did you have it when you were little? Mine came out of nowhere in the 5th grade but it's gotten better as ive gotten older
>>35172567
oh and there are a few comedians that stutter, theres one woman in particular but they have fucking balls. I would have a panic attack 30 seconds in
>>35172861
ive had mine as long as i can remember, it's definitely better than when i was young but it's still bad. i remember girls in school making fun of how weird i talked and that just killed me inside
>>35172882
i might have to look into them. the thought of getting a block on stage and being heckled over it sounds like too much though
imo i think studdering is adorable. might just be me though
