I feel as though I am old in my youth. I have already learned all the harsh lessons, already confronted all the terrible truths. Most people grow from Idealistic youngsters to Jaded Old folks. Somehow, I skipped all the way to the end. My Idealism was ripped out of me at a young age. I'm just a jaded asshole now.

I'm probably going to kill myself soon. What's the point of just kicking the can down the road forever?

not really. I say maybe a third do that. You get the another part that starts jaded and grow into idealistic as they get older and then just a weird(and successful) handful that just stay pragmatic their whole lives.

In fairness a lot of people do that with a lot of things. People form extreme opinions like that all the time.
