I eat 4000 regularly on a day.
I went from 150 to 160 pounds in 6 months. I am 6'2.
If I go below 3000 I am losing weight.

Always keep some of these handy:
- apples
- whole grain rye bread
- nonfat unsweetened yoghurt
- canned tuna (in water)

Mix and match any two (just don't down half a loaf of the bread, take a slice, two tops, also buy yoghurt in those smaller cups) for a "before bed" snack.
The caloric hit is negligible and the protein and the fiber will keep you satiated long enough to fall asleep. Follow it up with a mug of tea for increased effect.

How big is that one meal? What do you usually eat in that one meal? Also, weight and height? These are important to know. You can still a big fuck meal a day and still gain weight if that meal surpasses your TDEE.

A few tips to help you do this:

1000 calories may seem like a lot at once, but it's really not. Large serving of macaroni and cheese+snack cake+candy bar=1000, easily.

Aim mainly for carbohydrate and sugary foods. They won't fill you up as much and throw your insulin levels out of whack so that you'll get hungry again soon.

Have fun with it because you're going to hate yourself again within a few minutes of finishing.
