How can you tell if you have an annoying voice?

It's fucking true. I get that someone would feel self conscious and hope that the content of what they say itself is what matters, but that's never the case either.

Their voice is annoying precisely because they use it so much. Otherwise you aren't exposed long enough to really notice how unpleasant it is.

Would you change it if you could? Do people tend to not want to hear what you have to say regardless of what you're saying?

Honestly I wouldn't go out of my way to drag someone out of denial if it was their only means of coping anyway.

My theory is that people with annoying voices have annoying voices primarily because they lack self-awareness and have therefore not practiced making less offensive changes in tones/proper breathing/etc. to fix it. Naturally they are also unable to tell when they are annoying others, so they just keep on jabbering.
