Around 7, when I realized that some things just add up and there's nothing that will fix that. I had in mind the GET from the km counter in the car, and that if you missed a quad or a quint for example, you're powerless and just have to wait for the next.

Yet, I still build up these scenarios where I'm back in kiddo time with my memories and I get another chance to do things differently. I always rewrite my life in such a way I'd be successful by my current age. but I don't make the same changes in my real life so that I just stop crying on spilled milk and just advance.

Yes it does. If you controlled the flow of time, you would never be stuck in a particular moment. You would be capable of moving into the past or into the future. You're not even "stuck" in this life anyway. You could kill yourself. What you're stuck in is time, not life.

Because you could apply knowledge you have now to the past. You could correct errors you made. You could use your now infinitive store of time to perfect yourself or develop your knowledge. Or you could just waste time doing pointless but enjoyable shit without feeling guilt. The pressure that weighs on everybody at every moment would finally be gone.

As long as it keeps going forward. Anything else would be difficult to keep track of.
