I'm in college right now and it seems like just about everyone in my classes are liberal anti-trump folks. Given that, I avoid joining political discussions entirely. But it seems like not sharing those beliefs has made finding friends nearly impossible, much less find a gf.

I don't, I'm quite open about being very conservative by today's standards. I take dating seriously, I see it as a step towards marriage, and I don't want to marry a stupid leftist twat.
Some of them lose their shit and don't want to be around me, but that's usually only if they try to argue politics with me and I embarrass them.
Actual genuine SJW women are shit people and would make shit girlfriends, you're honestly better off alone.

However, the good news is that the large majority of leftist women are just following a trend to fit in, as women tend to do.

i went to a small liberal arts college and am now at a very left-leaning graduate school. i have known a LOT of "sjw" types.

literally none of them would date an "unrepentant trump supporter." they perceive trump support as a direct threat to their lives, and that's not hyperbole. i'm not trying to say that's valid/invalid, but that is the dominant belief and no amount of "but girls want ~bad boys~" justification will unmake that reality

i think some of them would be fine banging a MAGA hat wearing trump acolyte but it's important not to read too much into that. it'd probably either be a thing where they assign literally no value to sex (hey, where have you heard that before...) and thus give literally no shits about what a potential sexual partner does outside of having a functional penis. or it could be a thing where they think having sex with a guy is an exertion of power over him since women are effectively the gatekeepers of sex (again, where have you heard this before... ), so it'd really just be a power play. or it might be the case that they get off on being (verbally) abused or on hatefucking dudes, etc. but in none of these cases would such an arrangement resemble an actual "dating" relationship except for the sex.
