Any robots play wow and do you still find it fun? I never really

The new content with the constant RNG on everything burned out my guild and I so I quit.

How did it take you 6 days of playtime to get to lvl 70~ though? Even if you actually quested without heirlooms it should be like half that time.

I'm playing vanilla on Anathema. Can't into raiding so I'll quit soon.

Legion is good. You will eventually burn out if you play 24/7, but playing ~10 hours a week (raiding + chores) is kind of ok.

wow can still be fun. Granted a whole lot less with legion, it's actually disgusting that while wod was a festering abortion of an expansion, it's problems where..easier to deal with. artefact knowledge, power and the like are abysmal compared to a lack of content and the first round of pruning.

I have fun on moonguard still, and some raid nights are good. But the days of enjoying myself regularly are gone. WoW is an addiction for me, one I'm unwilling to break until another mmo can provide the same things. The same systems and ui, the addon functionality and above all other things.

what i don't like is current PVP and pointless timesinks.
you can really tell it's a completely new dev team because they are suddenly backpedaling on quality of life shit that they already fixed back in the day.

reducing quality of life and adding more time sink is a really bad sign, like complete creative bankruptcy.

How hard are they to catch up with at this point? I'm thinking about taking a break from xiv and playing wow til next patch, but I quit 1 month into legion so I'm afraid of how long it would take to get to current content.

The hardest part about catching up is getting lucky with RNG for good gear and hope you get titainforged or good stats in what you want so no one knows.

Also good luck at getting into a m+ run group if you're trying to catch up as a DPS spec

I think Howling Fjord is my favourite zone in the entire game though, it just felt so cold and crisp despite have little snow and the viking inspired architecture and quests there were just the GOAT, similar to Grizzly Hills especially the north east part which was beautiful too but Howling Fjord wins out. You just couldn't get any comfier than Howling Fjord. Shame everyone went to the eyesore that is Borean Tundra even if the questing there was pretty cool

Dragonblight and Zul Drak I think are underrated, honestly I found both "spookier" than Icecrown, at least Zul Drak - really captured the epicness of Northrend and how crazy the place was

Vanilla WoW is the opiate of the neet. I started playing on old Nost when they opened the PVE server, got my priest to 60 right before the shutdown. I played a priest and mage on Kronos K1 after that, cleared everything in AQ40 except Visc. When Nost reopened with Elysium I quit Kronos to raid with my one online friend on the PVE server again, the North American raiding scene on Kronos was pretty dead anyway. BWL has been out for like 3 weeks on PVE now, my guild is working on Nef tonight. It's actually pretty fun this early on patch/itemization wise, ZG doesn't even come out for a couple more months and there's no OP dungeon blues from the later patches yet.

At this point it's best to let your guild or good friends carry you to 875-880 and you are ready for Nighthold.
