We met at a Christian fellowship, she was embarrassed to admit it.

I remember a few at my high school, but not many. Maybe 40-50 out of 2000+ kids.

I met an emo girl during my last term of college. I didn't even realize she was emo at first because I thought they had died off but I talked to her a bit and found out she was a full blown emo. She had a small group of friends who were also emo. It's small but it still exists.

I played drums in a screamo band for 4 years and we actually did very well considering we were a bunch of teenagers. I felt like I was a root of my generations culture but soon after the scene died and the band broke up. Every I knew grew up, while the younger generation developed their form of form of expression and "emo" died with the exception of a few retards.
