>local takeaway shop recognizes me both IRL and voice over the phone
>can't go back due to this
>but I'm ridiculously hungry
Anyone here tried UberEats to get stuff delivered by someone else? I'm definitely considering it...

>takeaway
You bong fuck
still got to deal with the ubereats guy
depending on where you live the same people deliver the same area a lot
food for thought
that isn't a bad thing friend
I have a fish and chip shop I go to daily and even though it's unhealthy as shit and yadda yadda yadda the owners now know me so they throw in an extra half scoop for free, and whenever i call to place in advanced I just get, "The usual?" and only have to say 1 word.
Have you considered buying ingredients at a grocery store and cooking them?

That is way too much effort

But it's so much cheaper.
In fact, with the difference in cost between buying delivery just because you're hungry or cooking like a normal human being, it's practically paid labour.
You may think it's a bad thing but making friends with the employees (especially managers and owners) is how you get extra/free food.
