It's not like I get nothing. I've probably made $40,000 or so total on the ''''investments''''' the fund has made in dividends. But due to the hyper conservative investment regulations the trust they set up is subject to, the value of the trust has only grown at 2%/year since it was formed, when even a no brain index fund would grow at 6%. The difference is almost $800,000 on the sum in there. And of course the money isn't even technically mine, it's the trust's, and the bank controls the trust and only gives me money for my expenses if they think they have to.
