true, fathers have the responsibility of making men out of their kids. its especially important now since the traditions and rituals of passage into manhood that society used to have have faded and our moulding by society is emasculating. my father never did anything.

My family's awkward as fuck about sex and stuff. I remember my mom telling me that women get pregnant and have babies when I was pretty young, so at least no cabbage path or stork bullshit. But I had to find out everything about sex on my own. That wasn't a huge issue because I grew up around a lot of precocious kids and I had a pretty good knowledge of sex around 10 y/o. As to the "becoming a man" part my dad always said shit like hurr you need good grades durr you need to study engineering or starve hurr why did you get an A- etc which I'm p. sure fueled my depression later on and ironically made me drop out of uni 2 times. He gave me some tips about girls but it was basically bluepilled "be a doormat" nice guy bullshit that might have worked 30 years ago. But to be honest he has a decent sales understanding and gave me some good tips about dealing with people (a tip here and there, not a "sit down and talk" talk).

Growing up my older siblings would openly discuss weird shit so I knew what things like wet dreams and rim jobs were by the time I was five.

I didn't really need "the talk" and he knew that. So, it was a very brief conversation in which he told me not to fap, not to watch porn, and not to sleep with sluts. He basically wanted me to be a robot until I found a decent girl.

There is no such thing as "the talk".
Listening to your father is the exact opposite of being a real man.
You become a real man after you start arguing with him, calling him out on his bullshit and eventually replacing him as patriarch of your family.

Parents that teach their kids that shit really set them up for failure.

When I stopped listening to their shit and started punching, threatening, and intimidating the dickheads, I had everyone in the school crawling at my feet and begging for my attention. But no, parents teach their kids to be victims and do nothing.

They also taught me stupid shit like "wait your turn to speak" and "always be a gentleman". Fathers need to teach their sons how to take a punch and then deal out a vicious beating instead of teaching them this pacifist victim horseshit.

Good for you. Parents probably just condition the kids so they behave at home, not realizing that if you apply the same behaviors elsewhere your kid will be a giant pussy. I would take zero shit from people if I wasn't paranoid about the consequences, but I'm working on it. I give people the benefit of the doubt at first but as soon as they're acting shitty I try to act shitty back.
