How do I get into sports, robots? Soccer sounds like an okay one since it's easy to understand but how am I supposed to know what team to root for? What league am I supposed to watch? I have no idea where to start

Soccer is a great option :) unfortunately there's no easy way, you just have to watch it and watch it, read about it etc. etc. until you get the hang of the people and teams involved. especially if you don't know many people who are really into it (like me)
>learn about the World Cup, the Confederations Cup, the Champions League, the Europa League, etc. wikipedia that shit
>if you want an international team, if you don't like your own (I don't), then root for the country that you have heritage in/parents from. Then again a lot of people are indifferent to international soccer. get a scarf from ebay or somewhere
>root for the league team of the city you live in or closest option
just wikipedia everything and read shit
also see if there's any social soccer in your area :)
