Any of you people who bitch and complain about not having friends, you really need to step back and acknowledge your privilege
I'm in my late twenties and some of my friends are getting married and having kids. And because I'm their friend, I'm forced to be dragged into all that shit and feel obligated.
I envy you friendless assholes sometimes, I wish I would be left alone without worrying about going to these functions and being the only fucking guy there without a gf, and having to waste my money on gifts and shit.

Just don't go idiot. Say you have work or family shit or just straight up say you don't want to go. Obviously if you care about them as friends you'll make an effort to go to some shit but if you just want to be left alone why force yourself to go? If you're afriad of them getting pissy at you then you're just a pussy.
