OP, on 3 occasions I have put a pistol in my mouth and I can tell you that as much as I wanted to pull the trigger, I was so paralyzed with fear of impending death in those moments that I couldn't bear to kill myself.
You're better off waiting to die in a car accident, its statistically the most likely cause of death.
