Have you had dreams about having a girlfriend before? For those

Yes, I had a wife and a daughter, but right now I have no idea what happened to both of them.

If I go by my logic, I probably have split the husband personality from me and sent it to them so they can have a proper family life, since I'm stuck in the real world anyway.

She was a good wife and my daughter was so cute though. Hopefully my split part is doing a good job at taking care of them.

Lucid dreaming only goes so far. I've done it my whole life and it's usually not very intense at all

Yeah, I had a dream that I had a wife and I was looking down at her and we were both smiling and looking in each others eyes with warm happiness. She was pregnant and was holding another baby between us.

The feelings I felt were a mix of love, happiness, and pride. I felt like I wanted to work my hands to the bone and gladly give my life for them, I felt deep happiness looking into her eyes and knowing that I had something, a family of my own.

Then I woke up and remembered I'm a 26 year old virgin 5'6" male with only a 6" dick and that the dream would be impossible to achieve. It's not even the sex or porn, it's the love and pride of having a family and having a wife that's with you that you'll never feel no matter how good VR or dreaming gets. You will always come crashing back down to reality.

I'd seen one dude on here a while back talk about having a girlfriend in his lucid dreams that he consciously attempted to reoccurringly see basically every night, though that could have been bullshit for all anyone knows. That doesn't sound achievable for most people though, especially not me since I've never been able to lucid dream at all despite researching and attempting methods.

I'm able to dream up a girlfriend but she always cucks me with a friend.

Every lucid dream I have involves an intense amount of depersonalization so I would rather avoid that path.

It's easy to get lucid in a dream, but it's hard to have a good enough dream recall to remember everything and excruciatingly difficult to stabilize and control the dream despite excitement/stress.

That stuff takes a lot of practice and an inordinate amount of discipline. You'd easily be able to get a GF if you direct the energy it takes to be competent at lucid dreaming.

I've been trying to learn to lucid dream. I've tried meditation, dream journal, all that crap. I will say that I've gotten much better at recalling the dreams, but no closer to controlling them.
That said, since I've tried to start controlling them my dreams have gotten incredibly odd. That or they've always been weird and I just recently started remembering enough of them to realize this.

I lucid dream constantly just to see my soul mate. She came to me. She chose me. She followed me night after night. Dream after dream. Every time we're together though she tears up something fierce because she knows she's just a dream.

I don't know if waking up without dreaming the previous night or waking up just to lose her for the time I'm awake is worse.

I met a girl in the park and for some reason we got along really well. Started off as friends, slowly got more and more intimate. The dream ended when we were watching a movie and looked eachother in the eye.
FUCK. I couldn't keep myself from crying when I woke up. I could have been happy with that girl. I knew her so well and now I'll never see her again. If I could have dreamt on forever I would have.
