No fucking idea why, but Hotline Miami.
It makes me feel anger because of its obnoxious, pretentious post-modern ironic melancholic vibes. Not the emotion it was intending to convey, I imagine.

It just makes me think that the world is injust, because we are made to suffer instead of have easy relaxing and loving lives. I sit here, straining between ennui and suicide, the next day I feel like I'm on top of the world, for absolutely no reason at all. And if I don't feel those dark emotions, or those bright ones, then I feel nothing, which is by far the worst. Like the world lacks anything special or interesting, that everything I will see in the future is just what I've already seen in a slightly different fashion, that all my expectations of life will not be met, I blame the media, and books. I used to escape too much, and my expectations for life are ruined, there is no wonder in the world, it's dreary and boring, we live life to serve others who will live better lives, but ultimately they will be dissatisfied with their own lives, because they don't know what's below them, we only ever aim upwards, with good reason, we want to improve, but in seeking improvement we're faced with our present, where we are right now, and we ruminate on what could be, and when we finally take that step forward, we're left wondering where the satisfaction is, what did we really work for, and why were we happier in the past than we are now, if we only ever seek happiness, how can it be that our memories are always better than our present? Why does it seem like everyone else is gifted in this life, and we see ourselves as having received the short end? Why do we bother if we only ever end up staying where we are? We are unable to leave a legacy, if we have kids there are only two options, our lineage expands until we aren't special, until we've become one with the masses, we lose our connection to our family, and ultimately dissipate into the population, with nothing left to remind the world who we were. And the second option is worse, we lose every part we ever had in this world, our lineage doesn't expand, it shrinks until it's gone, in the end it's meaningless

Six years later, I keep coming back to this. Dunno why, it's not that good. It just makes me feel all cozy. Perhaps it's nostalgia.

You can't argue against facts anon, robots aren't built that way.
