Anyone else sort of miss the adventure of going into the city

i get it. most used bookshops, DVD stores, toy stores etc. are just clothes or shoes stres now, there's nothing to shop for if you don't give a fuck about clothes

I'm 33 and have had the internet since before I was old enough to go into the city.

But I know what you mean. I used to like going to used bookstores, or music stores flipping through cds.

Remember going to CD shops and they had those headphones for you to listen to music?

Remember getting excited for an album and having to go to the shop and buy it for what is now the price a monthly Spotify?

Remember going to the video shop with your mates on Friday?

Remember having to prearrange a meet up and when you were out of the house you had no way of contacting your friends?

I remember, I remember it all.

I don't remember that, but I miss the CD stores with headphones and the video shops. I sort of wish music and movies weren't as cheap and easily obtainable as they now are.
