as far as i know suicide by drop hanging is fairly painless since it instantly breaks your spinal cord. you need to hang yourself high enough that you're able to fall like ten feet though, outherwise you'll probably just slowly suffocate which is agony

Suprisingly, getting hit by a train is among the quickest and least painful.
Lay your head on the tracks and you'll be dead before your brain can even register the train has hit it.
I was really suprised.
If you don't mind a slow, painless comfy death there's always the classic Exit Bag or Nembutol.
